Carlingswitch ON/ON double pole V series Contura rocker switch body.

  • This is a Switch Body Only. Actuators are sold separately.
  • ON/ON configuration.
  • 12V clear independent lamp in the top position. An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to the standard switches that just have a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the actuator position as opposed to standard dependent lamps that get their power internally when the actuator moves to the on position.
  • 8 terminal; Terminal #7 is the ground and Terminal #8 is the power for the lamp. You can jump the power to the lamp from another terminal on the switch so it illuminates always, or when either or both of the accessories are activated..your choice. Terminal #2,#5 are power in. Terminals #3,#6 are power out when the actuator is in the Up position and Terminals #1,#4 are power out when the actuator is in the Down position. In a double pole switch, the two sides of the switch are independent of each other.
  • This type of switch is often used in conjunction with another dash switch for  cockpit lights. Another common use is for windshield wiper motors that require constant power to one wire for the "park" function.
