Carlingswitch ON/OFF double pole V series Contura rocker switch body.
  • ON/OFF configuration
  • Double Pole switch. The two sides of this switch are independent of each other. Double pole switches are typically used to power two accessories simultaneously. Lights, bilge pumps, blowers, etc.
  • 12V Clear independent lamp in the 1 position can be wired to illuminate at any time. It is wired to terminals (#7-) and (#8+) It is an incandescent lamp.
  • 12V Amber independent lamp in the 2 position can be wired to illuminate at any time. It is wired to terminals (#9-) and (#10+). This is a LED lamp
  • An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to the dependent lamps that just have a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the handle position as opposed to standard "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the handle moves to the "on" position
  • 8 terminal; Terminal #7 is the ground for the lamp in position 1, Terminal #8 is the power input for that lamp. Terminals #2,#5 are power in. Terminals #3,#6 are the power out. Terminal #9 is the power and Terminal #10 is ground for the independent lamp in the 2 position.
  • Common for Marine, RV, automotive, and other 12V DC applications.
